As a founding member you will are helping to support the much-needed increase in staffing and maintenance of the collection and garden as we work towards the public garden transition. You are also increasing our ability to reach and educate the growing numbers of visitors in our rapidly expanding community. 

You will be forever recognized as a founding member in our program and receive advanced registration opportunities and discounts on in-person and online programs, a quarterly newsletter, free admission to monthly garden tours, access to the Index Seminum (seed sharing program) and receive a free members only plant annually.*

All membership levels include access to the AHS reciprocal garden network, free parking when visiting the garden, access to our botanical library on-site, 10% discount on classes and workshops, and our in-depth Quarterly Member Newsletter that includes hot off the press articles written by Tony Avent and our expert horticultural staff. Monthly guided tour

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month at 10AM for an hour long guided tour through the garden showcasing best plants of the season. Get your questions answered by our experts.

Index seminum

Add unique plants to your garden that are not available for sale. You will be invited to choose from a list of available seeds to fit your garden conditions.

Exclusive member plants

Available to members only, this collection features unique seedling selections, rare cultivars, and limited quantity propagations from the garden. Check out is processed through our nursery. Shipping is on us.

Library access

We have an extensive horticultural library on site collected by Tony Avent during the span of his life-long career. Access to the library is provided on site.

AHS Membership

We are members of the American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Garden Network. Our members share the AHS benefits, such as free admission to other participating gardens/arboreta/conservancies and discounts on their educational programs (over 350 locations).

Memberships sales are final and non-refundable. Memberships start the date they are purchased. Memberships and Member benefits cannot be sold or transferred. Please present Membership card(s) when utilizing a membership benefit.  If you renew early, your new Membership will add 1 year to your current expiration date.
