Trillium, the gateway perennial

Join staff taxonomist Zac Hill on an exploration of toadshades, the woodland genus Trillium, which was his gateway plant into the field of botany. It will begin with a PowerPoint slideshow inside and will then head out into the garden and research areas where we will see a myriad of species of Trillium, as well as a look behind the scenes at the production area, where we will see how we grow Trilliums to sell at Plant Delights. Learn about their taxonomy, how to grow them and a bit on how to identify them.
