We wanted to remind you of a couple of immenent deadlines. The first is our on-site class this Saturday at PDN/JLBG, about Understanding Soils in the Garden, from 10-noon. This annual class for the last 30 years, is chance to take a deep dive into understanding the importance of garden soils, and how to manage them. We’ve still got a few spaces available, and you can sign up here.
The second signup deadline is our Winter tour to the tropical destination of Belize/Guatemala, led by Dr. Patrick McMillan. We are thrilled that our adjunct researcher, Patrick McMillan, has agreed to lead many of our foreign trips, since there are few countries in which he isn’t an expert, having traveled around the world with his Emmy-award winning PBS show, Expeditions, and also leading tours for PBS. If you haven’t traveled with Patrick before, you’re in for a special treat.
We have a few more spaces available, for what will be an amazing trip to incredible areas of Belize and Guatemala from January 29-February 4, 2026 with one of the world’s top naturalist.
