We love our adult ivies…the well behaved adult shrub forms of the pesky vines. Based on our observations, so do the native pollinators, which flock to them like nothing else in our fall garden. Pictured below is our nine year-old clump of Hedera colchica ‘Green Spice’ flowering in early October. This is an adult form of the rarely cultivated, Persian Ivy. Adult ivies require no pruning to keep this beautiful form. Mature size should be 5′ tall x 10′ wide.

Very cool plant- what zone?
Thanks
Most sources consider Hedera colchica winter hardy to Zone 6a/6b.
Beautiful! Couple questions…1)Do you know if these would grow in Dayton Ohio (zone 6b)? 2)where are these available?
Most sources consider Hedera colchica winter hardy to Zone 6a/6b. We don’t know a source, unfortunately.
