We love camellias, but we really love the amazing banded leaf, variegated camellias, of which we’ve assembled a decent collection. Here is our plant of Camellia japonica ‘Taiyo’ in the garden now, which is just absolutely striking.

Wow! I want to plant this right now!!! Simply stunning
Hopefully you’ll be making this and other variegated-leaf camellia’s available for sale? (CamForest doesn’t seem to be propagating many variegated-leaf camellia’s in the past, e.g., Camellia japonica ‘Kerguelen.’)
I doubt we’ll offer camellias, as there is too high a probability that we’d get carried away. In addition to Camellia Forest, another local nursery, Garden Treasures, who also grows many variegated camellias, has plans to start selling mail order this year.
Just looked online for a place that would sell me one of these and didn’t have any luck, any ideas? Thanks

Always possible…that’s a superb chance to get many otherwise unobtainable gems.
One of the top Camellia Nurseries in the country, https://www.nucciosnurseries.com/index.php/camellias has it listed, but keep in mind that their website is beyond primitive, and they do not accept credit cards. Their site has very few photos, so you’ll need to Google the plants to see a photo. If you’re willing to step back in time 40 years, they have truly amazing plants.
Funny, I did look at them of course but their website discouraged me and I gave up. Will give them another try. Thanks again
