With our recent consistent rains, not only are plants growing like crazy, but frogs are numerous as birds in a Hitchcock film. Walking and driving a golf cart has become an obstacle course trying to avoid these critters.
Just caught this Carolina anole changing its skin pigment to chartreuse as it crawled across the leaf of this golden pinellia.
Here’s a new photo of Phlox paniculata ‘Dunbar Creek’ that’s looking particularly good in the garden right now. I love the recurved petals and lack of mildew.
