Just captured the wonderful gold-foliaged Carex ‘Everillo’ in full flower by our front grotto waterfall…what a great landscape plant!
love that plant BUT can only keep it in pots because rabbits eat it to the base if planted in the garden. After that happened 2 winters in a row, Everillo did not recover. I dug it up and kept it in a pot for 2 years before replanting with a rhododendron in a very large pot.
For some reason, Evergold carex is not touched by rabbits.
