Two of the best performing lungworts in our trials are pictured below, Pulmonaria ‘Diana Clare’ from Cotswold Garden Flowers, and Pulmonaria ‘Shrimps on the Barbie’ from the breeders at Terra Nova. Both have incredible vigor, and put on an exceptional show in the late winter garden and into spring, currently at JLBG. Both are planted where they receive 1-2 hours of sun daily, although very open, light shade should also work. Hardiness is Zone 3a-8b.

Good to know; I’m guessing there won’t be a Mt. Cuba report for pulmonarias anytime soon (as pulmonarias aren’t native). How less vigorous are the other pulmonarias like Silver Scimitar?
probably not.
