Here’s a recent image from JLBG, giving an idea of what’s possible when being thoughtful of textures and colors when planting. Plants include Iris x hollandica ‘Red Ember’, Heuchera ‘Silver Scrolls’, Carex ‘Bonnie and Clyde’, Thelypteris kunthii, and Juniperus chinensis ‘Parsonii’.

What is the Ajuga(?) in the lower left hand corner? And how much sun does this bed get?
The ajuga is Ajuga reptans ‘Mork’…an all purple sport of Ajuga ‘Planet Zork’. We have not introduced this yet. This bed gets sun for 6-8 hours daily
Beautiful composition! Could you come to my house and replicate it???
