Orange and Purple together again

Here’s a recent combo at JLBG with Eucomis comosa ‘Sparkling Burgundy’ (our first plant introduction), paired with Hemerocallis ‘Prize Picotee Splendor’ (introduced by our friend Roy Klehm), and backed with Lagerostroemia faurei ‘Townhouse’, an introduction from our mentor, the late J.C. Eucomis – Pineapple Lilies

The pineapple lilies have been just grand this summer in the garden.  Here is a recent image of one of our favorites…Eucomis ‘Sparkling Burgundy’ in its full splendor.  Hardiness 6b-8b.
